SURVEYS

"PPM" surveys
We undertake strategic surveys to give an indication of the plant condition, prospective life and remedial work likely to be required over the coming years. This is often tied in with a maintenance audit that identifies if the contractors involved are carrying out and documenting the required regime. The output of this is tabulated, listing services/items, condition, maintenance comments, remedial actions required, budget cost and recommended time frame for the works

Dilapidation surveys
We can carry out dilapidation surveys at lease end to assess the work and costs of M&E works required at termination.

Other surveys
We often undertake surveys of particular items of plant such as water tanks, boilers or chillers to assess the viability of repair or options for replacement.

Recently we carried out a survey in Watford for a client who is planning to purchase a building but wanted assurance that it could be refurbished on a floor by floor basis. We were able to reassure them that this was possible and provide budgets and recommendations for the sequence of works

Statutory inspections.
We do not carry out EPC’s or TM 44 air conditioning inspections but we can arrange for them to be undertaken. We do however interpret the results of such inspections and can provide advice on which recommendations are actually worth implementing and arrange for them to be undertaken.
